Using a phone while behind the wheel is one of the most common forms of distracted driving. Looking down at a phone to dial a number, look up a contact, or respond to a text is not only dangerous but also deadly. Taking your eyes off of the road for even a few seconds can result in a collision or loss of vehicle control if bad weather is a factor. Do the right thing and ignore your phone until you’ve arrived at your destination. If it’s important, pull over into a parking lot to respond.
